Privet strength

Verses:
psalm 119:11
Romans

'Most sin is not the result of an outer problem but an inner.'

Questions
Is there anything similar among these verses?
What is the difference between inner and outer sin?

Part 2
Great peace

Verses:
psalm 119:165

'Great peace is not the result of our outward conditions, but
the inner condition of the heart.'

questions:
Do you think these things will be helpful to you in your
life?
Do
you have great peace?
And again all quotes in this study are from the book ' Turning your Bedroom into a Bible Collage' by Gregg Johnson

  1. I am kind of stunned. I mean (in a way)all my sin is an inner problem. My hand doesn't just go over and slap someone, nor does my mouth just say something randomly. Everything that is done is done through the brain. The brain will listen to my heart. If my hearts not in the right place then i will have a miserable life.

But yes, i believe there is a difference between inner and outer sin besides that. The outward sin being the things we see, and the inner being the things that happen in our mind or heart.

  2. Yeah, I agree with you John, sin starts in the heart and mind, and becomes actions,I think theres a verse in James that's kinda abouth that. I also believe that there is a difference between inner and outer sin. I think that sometimes the inner sin, what goes on in your mind and heart leads your actions.
