Challenges and Accountability

Hello,
Kate here, I have a challenge for you! Well...actually I have two challenges for you.

1.) The Devotional Challenge
  • Read 3-4 chapters of the Bible each day,  I will post a plan that I suggest each month, feel free to use it, or use your own. By the end of the year you will have read every verse in the Bible.
        or...
  • Read one key chapter from the Bible each day using another plan that I will be posting monthly. You will read 365 chapers that will give you a good overview of the Bible.
2.) The Meditation Challenge
If you don't know any good verses to memorize, look at the right side bar where I will post what I'm memorizing and meditating. If you would like a different verse(s), ask and I'll put together a big list.
  • Memorize and meditate on one verse or short section per week for the next year, also memorize and meditate on one key chapter or section of Scripture every month for the next year.
         or...
  • Memorize and meditate on one verse or short section per week for the next year.

There are two parts to each challenge, you can choose whatever best fits your schedule.  If you decide that you are able to do one of these challenges, comment so that I can hold you accountable, and you can hold me accountable. This page is also for you to ask for accountibility with any challenge or goal that you have, not just the above ones. :)

  1. I was just wanting to do the same thing! I was doing all the math and stuff also and learned that it's three or four versus a day! I'm in with you on this! WOW, this could be very hard though (three to four chapters a day!) I think I'm going to try to do two in the morning when i wake up and two in the night before bed. I'm so excited to see what God is going to teach me by reading the whole Bible! And yes i would be very happy with accountability, and I will try to do the same for you if you would like.
