Psalms 3:6 was a typo so you can read it but it has nothing to do with the devo.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing to me how almost every aspect of meditating and faith is related around the Bible.
ReplyDeleteRomans 10:17 "Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ." We can say we are meditating on his word this week, but i want to challenge us (and mainly myself)to be reading the letter God has wrote to us. I do find it really hard to do devos by my self some times though. One thing that helps me at the beginning of the day is to say that i can't do any computer until i have done my devos. It's hard, but i find that it works well.
in proverbs 22:17-18 it talked about listening to the wise. God is wise right? How come we sometimes ignore what he is saying? Are we foolish? I think a little bit yes we are but why?
ReplyDeleteSomething that I noticed is that many of the verses say that our delight should be in the law of the lord.
I think that I really need to take delight in my time with God and that I need to listen to what he tells me and obey.I try to spend a half hour every morning from 7 to 7:30 when the rest of my little sibs are still sleeping that way its quiet and i can really Concentrate.
I'm so proud of you and Kate . Amazing job on the devo and the blog. I'm very excited to see more and work through these devos with you guys !
