Hey,
Keziah
here, I thought it might time to update you guys on the truth seekers blog. As
I get older I realize how important it is to have daily devotions, I also find
that as I get older it harder to find time to spend time with Christ. In
1 Thessalonians 5:11 (ESV) it says “Therefore
encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.” That is
what started this blog, and we hope that this blog will be an encouragement to
you also.
John
dougan has started a study on acts. Here is the introduction to his study.
Hi, John here
Ok, so I'm trying a new thing on here where I'm going to go through the book of
Acts in the Bible. I'm going to be going through about a chapter or two every
week. If you would like you can join me on this new and exciting journey as we
look at stories and try to look at things in new ways. My goal is not to give
you a sermon, but to study along with companions and try to:
1. find new ways that God might be speaking to us.
2. Scrutinize cool stories in great detail.
3. Find versus that can uplift each other and encourage our walk with God.
4. Learn more about God.
I would love it if you would join me in this great adventure through Acts.
P.S. Sometimes you will be lost if you don't follow along weekly.
I would encourage you all to check
it out.
Also I am hoping to start a study on Luke; the
point of this study is to:
grow closer to Christ
understand in a deeper way what
is means to live like Jesus
uplift and encourage each other
in our walk with Christ
help hold each other
accountable for our daily devotions
I hope that throughout this
Christmas season that we will realize how much we are loved by our creator, and
that we will also enjoy spending time with family and this time off school as
we celebrate Jesus’s birth this Christmas season.
Merry Christmas, Keziah Lawson for
the whole truth seekers clan
